变速箱-液压(应用工程师) position summary
work with oem customers and global drivetrain systems engineering organization in the product development and integration of drivetrain systems and modules. responsible for defining customer requirements, system specification, conformance to requirement, vehicle integration and vehicle level performance characteristics. work with customer for problem solving and root cause finding.
principal accountabilities / responsibilities
• lead integration of mechanical, electro-hydraulic and electronic drivetrain modules and systems into customer vehicles.
• lead engineering interface with customers
• develop hydraulic control module and component requirements from system requirements
• develop an intimate knowledge of the products to assure a high level of self-reliance for issues resolution
• track and report product conformance to customer requirements
• negotiate customer commitments in close coordination with bw sales and program management
• ensure all deliverables & timing are clearly defined and communicated to the organization
• manage relationship with customer engineering
• work closely with sales to coordinate technical support for new business opportunities and new technology demonstrations
• present product design and system performance and obtain concurrence from customer
• participate in customer product design team meetings
• maintain customer action items list and manage commitments to ensure customer needs are met
• coordinate all customer engineering activities – arrange support and participation from other parts of the global drivetrain systems organization as needed.
• support analysis of prototype parts in customer vehicles/ transmissions
requirements / qualifications
master degree in automotive, mechanical, or electrical engineering (required)
minimum of 5 years of powertrain engineering experience (required)
ability to work effectively across functional and geographic boundaries in the interest of the customer and the business (required)
experience developing automatic transmission systems (preferred)
experience with working with customers (required)
excellent interpersonal skills (required)
excellent presentation skills (required)
excellent negotiation skills (required)
english language proficiency (required)
