供应链工程师 job description

as logistic engineer, you are responsible for the implementation, support and follow-up of process improvement projects with methods engineers to meet jit , minimize the space using, whole flow chain review from supplier to production.

it is your responsibility to:

1. analyze the production process, the inbound supply chain and outbound supply chain of our suppliers;

2. define, implement, support and follow-up of process improvement projects with the purpose of reducing lead times, enhancing delivery performance and reliability, and improving process efficiency;

3. work with methods engineer to define the way for supplier delivery, the stock area, reasonable moq and package, the transportation tooling , define the delivery sequence and frequency, logistic layout and so on

4. provide first-line support in case of logistical issues

5. you will be in the front line when it comes to improving suppliers' production processes and supply chain.

6. you work closely and intensively together with your team members in china.

7. provide the training to suppliers in logistic tooling such as b2net , odet label, organize the regular meeting with top suppliers to push delivery improvement

experience requirements

1. minimum 3 years of experience in production process analysis, preferably in the automotive industry.

2. interest in and affinity with supply chain processes and logistic

3. over 2 years’ experience in logistic or supplier chain improvement, familiar with supplier and material planning

4. knowledge and experience with microsoft office tools (excel, access,…) and erp system

5. have a degree in engineering related and has to have very good knowledge of written and spoken english

6. critical, analytical and methodical mind.
