第8篇 首席机械工程师岗位职责

首席机械工程师principal mechanical engineer-ops engineering 格柏科技 格柏(上海)工业数控设备有限公司,格柏科技,格柏 responsibilities:

• provide mechanical engineering support for systems, assemblies, and components from development through production. this support would include but not limited to the following; designing, assessing manufacturability, creating/approving work instructions, developing tolerance studies, designing tools, gages, test fixtures, employing lean manufacturing tools, and etc..

• develop, maintain and release technical documentation

• provide effective engineering support to factory and suppliers on producing products and or parts for gerber equipment.

• ensure products produced for gerber equipment meet expectations for quality, reliability, and delivery through design/manufacturing processes.

• develop a strong working relationship with internal and external customers to provide effective value engineering support.

• technically lead the implementation of engineering changes order (eco) and material variance authorization (mva).

• lead/train techniques such as design for manufacturability and assembly (dfma) and failure mode effects and analysis (fmea), process failure mode effects and analysis (pfmea) to assure reliability and quality of design parts and systems

• provide technical assistance on projects like; npd, cost reduction, source changes, design changes, process improvement, quality improvement, and etc..

• provide regular and special reports to communicate findings, progress, actions, and etc..

• travel domestically and/or internationally, as required.

education & experience:

• bachelor degree or equivalent, ms degree preferred with a minimum of 10-years’ experience in design and or manufacturing of complex motion control products.

• working knowledge of design and manufacturing processes, including but not limited to assembly, machining, molding, fabrication, motion control, lean manufacturing, and etc..

• possess working knowledge of ansi-y14.5 and its applications

• working knowledge of microsoft office and cad product design and analysis tools
