· analysis of the regional market/competitor (includes the overview of the whole refractory demand as well as the corresponding machinery/equipment + lining demand in his own customer area)

· development of suggestions for a successful step-in with new customers/projects

find and get in touch with decision-makers at the customer

· independent planning and completion of periodical customer visits

· preparation of travel reports and optionally update of customer data

· placement of the appropriate rhi technology at the customer

· organization of customer trainings concerning the proper use of rhi magnesita products and services

· customer support at trade fairs and symposia

· ongoing check of technical and economical competitiveness of the implemented rhi portfolio

coordination of lining processes

· responsibility for the demand planning involving the customer, rhi magnesita customer service dept. and service engineers.

· recognition of the necessity of contracts

· determination of contracts parameter

· initiation of contract creation (input into basic contract datasheet)

· tracing the process of contract creation as well as contract approval

· price calculations

· agreement of the commercial conditions with the bu head

· proposal preparation

· preparation of business plans

· budgeting based on targets from bu head

· definition of demand for machinery equipment

· definition of demand for supervisor and engineering resources

· planning of rolling forecasts

· stock management: implement periodical stock monitoring and to promote stock reductions

· management of receivables: support of the sales department concerning the tracking of receivables and the dunning process

· overall responsibility about the process of customer complaints

job requirement

· university degree holder or master degree holder, major in refractories and related is preferred

· minimum 3 years of experience in steel refractories industry

· excellent relationship–building, customer service and negotiation skills, hands-on experience of client management and business development is essential

· -good business knowledge and client networking in steel refractories industry

· -financial and commercial background needed

· -regular travel within region is required

· independent, organized with decision-making capabilities and problem-solving skills

· excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· good command of oral and written english is a must.

· capable to make analysis with ms excel and simple database programs, and present to management with ms powerpoint
